For the Luck of the Buckeye
The Buckeye is a tree nut known to Ohioans as a "good luck" charm. However, as the chosen "guru bead" in our Aesculus The Buckeye Mala design, the Buckeye serves a greater purpose. "Carmen Ohio" is the alma mater for The Ohio State University and a specific lyric sings, "How Firm Thy Friendship." The Buckeye is a reminder to be firm in friendship and inclusive of everyone.
In 2022, See ME Not asd™️ is hosting their inaugural initiative entitled “Awaken Your Buckeye Spirit” for the exclusive benefit of The Ohio State University Nisonger Center’s Autism College Experience (Ace!) Program.
Through a sensory experience, See ME Not asd™️ will lead attendees through a curated mindfulness tour through Ohio State’s beautiful and historic campus, guide them through the honest awareness they seek about themselves, others, and legacy creation, and subsequently empower them to see how elevating exceptional people beyond any specialized disability, any specialized diagnosis, or any specific diversity is what will ultimately make them a visionary.
